We’re excited to share that we are now offering Hey Dee Ho Yoga sessions as part of our regular programme at Young World!
These fun, movement-based sessions are designed specifically for our mokopuna, promoting mindfulness, body awareness, and emotional wellbeing in a playful and engaging way.
Led by experienced instructors from Hey Dee Ho, each session incorporates:
- Gentle stretches and yoga poses
- Breathing and relaxation techniques
- A calm, inclusive environment where every child feels confident to participate
Why Yoga in ECE?
Yoga supports children’s:
- Physical development and coordination
- Focus and self-regulation
- Confidence and resilience
- Sense of calm and connection
We believe these sessions will beautifully complement our holistic learning environment, supporting tamariki to grow physically, emotionally, and socially.
Sessions will take place on every second Wednesday of the month, and all children will have the opportunity to join in.
